Insurance DataLab: Proud Sponsors of the Insurance Times Awards

We are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the Commercial Lines Insurer of the Year category at this year’s Insurance Times Awards on 9 December.

This category is one of the most prestigious awards of the night, with the winner decided by an industry vote to determine the best insurer in the commercial lines space for 2021.

While it is the industry that will have the ultimate say on who will pick up this award, the shortlist – comprised of Ageas, Allianz Insurance, Aviva, Markel UK and QBE – was put together in collaboration between Insurance DataLab and Insurance Times.

We also helped to decide on the shortlist for the Personal Lines Insurer of the Year category, as well as the coveted General Insurer of the Year Award, with our data used to assess each insurer’s underwriting performance, as well as how they have fared on customer experience and complaints handling.

Our co-founders Dan King and Matt Scott will both be at the awards ceremony next month, so please do come over and say hello if you spot us.

Once the winners of these three insurer categories have been revealed, we’ll be publishing an analysis of the performance of the victors in the final issue of Insurance Times before we head into 2022.

This will be an in-depth analysis examining the reasons why these insurers finished ahead of the pack, including a detailed look at the numbers behind their success.
