Insurance Times has named Aviva as the provider of the best insurer extranet platform with brokers giving the insurer a score of 4.22 out of five in the 2022 Insurance Times eTrading survey.
While this marks a 0.9 point deterioration on the previous year's results, it is still the fourth straight year that Aviva has finished top of the rankings, earning the insurer a five star rating.
The only other insurer to receive a five star rating was Zurich after it received a score of 4.02 for 2022, up from 3.91 the previous year as it rose four places in the rankings to second.
Market performance, meanwhile, has remained steady with insurers picking up an average rating of 3.79 in each of the last two years, although this is down from a high of 3.82 in 2020.
